2012 DECEMBER: WARNING ON THE UPCOMING 'MONSTROUS' SOLAR STORM EVENT
There has been a lot of hype about our world ending on 21st December 2012 because they say the Mayan calendar will end its cycle on that day, which literally means the end of our existence. Some people believe that a planet (Nibiru or Planet X) will pass by earth, so near that it will affect our planet’s gravitational field which may cause polar shifts consequently resulting catastrophic events including 8-mile-height floods wiping everything out. However, there have been a lot of debates about this, one side disproving the other. But one thing is for sure, a huge solar storm is on its way which will affect every electronic device including GPS, power grids, telecommunication satellites, mobile phones, computers, hospital equipment, among other things.
The huge solar storm will happen when the sun starts its new solar cycle which always begins with a high latitude, reversed polarity sunspot. In December 2007, according to United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the new solar cycle (24) will be big and intense peaking in 2011 or 2012.[1]
In June 8, 2010, Washington DC held a meeting to make preparations for such event. According to Richard Fisher, head of NASA’s Heliophysics Division, "The sun is waking up from a deep slumber, and in the next few years we expect to see much higher levels of solar activity. At the same time, our technological society has developed an unprecedented sensitivity to solar storms.”
The National Academy of Sciences framed the problem few years ago in a landmark report entitled "Severe Space Weather Events—Societal and Economic Impacts." It noted how people of the 21st-century rely on high-tech systems for the basics of daily life. Smart power grids, GPS navigation, air travel, financial services and emergency radio communications can all be knocked out by intense solar activity. A century-class solar storm, the Academy warned, could cause twenty times more economic damage than Hurricane Katrina.[2]
Just recently, Dr. Michio Kaku, theoretical physicist, has reiterated on live television on how unprepared we are and the dangers of the ‘monster tsunami from the sun’ which will happen soon. You can view the Fox News segment from this link.
There has been not much commotion about the upcoming event which I would understand because it will literally cause panic to everyone. Imagine the (economic) effects even if the solar storm has not come yet. However, all the information I have gathered here are from reliable sources, including that from NASA. So, I guess we can not just ignore this. By the way, just come to think of it. Why would our governments invest in a global seed bank (Svalbard Global Seed Vault)? Are they preparing for something big? They say that ‘the seed vault is an attempt to provide insurance against the loss of seeds in genebanks, as well as a refuge for seeds in the case of large-scale regional or global crises.’[3]
Interestingly enough, a Mayan elder on youtube talked about the ‘end of cycle’ which happens on the 21 December 2012. He said that something will change in the sun during that time and a new cycle begins. This information has been traditionally passed down from one generation to the other, but seems to coincide with what NASA has been talking about or discovered. Coincidence? You be the judge. As one newscaster said, this might just be another Y2K event when people invested so much but actually didn’t do any harm. Let us just hope that it is. But it is better to be prepared than sorry.

Why so much suffering?
It always gives me the goose bumps every time I read Jane Roberts’ various Seth Materials. I just recently discovered ‘Seth’ yet it ‘scares’ me that we share the same thoughts and beliefs. And I even wonder where I got these ideas from. But I admit, after reading some of Jane/Seth’s books, it helped me widen my perspective about our ‘consciousness’. It made me re-member better.
One interesting discourse was about the state of the world in general. Jane and her husband, Rob, discussed that “What real sense or purpose is behind it all? Granted some part of us knows what we’re doing, still we seem hell-bent on destroying the planet, if not through war, then pollution.”
The following text is lifted from Jane Robert’s Seth Material, Chapter 20. No copyright infringement is intended but I am sharing it so that perhaps, we will understand why suffering and destruction exist.
November 6, 1968. 446th Session.
Among other things, Seth Two said:
“The human race is a stage through which various forms of consciousness travel. Before you can be allowed into systems of reality that are more extensive and open, you must first learn to handle energy and see, through physical materialization, the concrete result of thought and emotion. As a child forms mud pies from dirt, so you form your civilizations out of thoughts and emotions, and then see what you have created.
When you leave the physical system after reincarnations, you have learned the lessons – and you are literally no longer a member of the human race, for you elect to leave it. Only the conscious self dwells within it in any case, and other portions of your identity dwell simultaneously within other training systems. In more advanced systems, thoughts and emotions are automatically and immediately translated into action, into whatever approximation of matter there exists. Therefore, the lessons must be taught and learned well.
The responsibility for creation must be clearly understood. To some extent, you are in a soundproof and isolated room. Hate creates destruction in that ‘room’, and until the lessons are learned, destruction follows destruction.
In the terms of other systems, that kind of destruction does not exist – but you believe that it does, and the agonies of the dying are sorely felt. A vivid nightmare is also sorely felt, but quickly over. It is not that you must be taught not to destroy, for destruction does not actually exist. It is that you must be taught and trained to create responsibly. Yours is a training system for emerging consciousness.
The training will serve you for existence in a variety of interrelated systems. If the sorrows and agonies within your system were not felt as real, the lessons would not be learned. The teachers within your system are those who are in their last reincarnation, and other personalities who have left the system but have been assigned to help those still within it.
You are dealing with the transformation of emotional energy into action and form. You then manipulate within the system which you have yourselves created, and by its effects learn where you have succeeded and failed. The system includes some fragment personalities who are entering for the ‘first’ time, as well as those in later reincarnations.
Humanity dreams the same dream at once, and you have your mass world. The whole construction is like and educational play in which you are the producers as well as the actors. There is a play within a play within a play. There is no end to the ‘within’ of things. The dreamer dreams, and the dreamer within the dream dreams. But the dreams are not meaningless, and the actions within them are significant. The whole self is the observer and also a participator in the roles.”
